ForceDecks Force Plate Testing in Oakville
Dual force plates that measure what each leg is really doing. Used in Oakville for rehab, return-to-play decisions and athlete monitoring.
Why test
The difference you can't feel
After a knee or ankle injury, most people stop limping long before both legs work equally. A meaningful difference between legs is hard to notice by feel, and it often still exists when you feel ready to play.
ForceDecks are two independent force plates. You squat, jump or land on them, and each plate records the force from that leg many times per second. Comparing the two shows where you really are.
- Leg-to-leg asymmetry in squatting, jumping and landing
- Jump height and power for performance tracking
- Landing control after knee and ankle injuries
- Repeat tests to show progress through rehab
How we use it
Part of every return-to-play decision
Your physiotherapist uses force plate results alongside a clinical assessment, not instead of it. The numbers guide which exercises progress, and when it is reasonable to return to running, cutting and full sport. Learn more on our ForceDecks page.
