Services

Massage Therapy in Bolton and Oakville

Registered massage therapy for pain management, injury rehabilitation and post-natal recovery — sixty minutes, one to one.

Registered massage therapy

A key part of the rehabilitation process

Alleviating pain, improving circulation and flexibility while reducing tension and stress plays a key role in the rehabilitation process.

Registered massage promotes scar tissue release, relieves tight muscles and aids swift recovery for musculoskeletal issues, including post-natal care. It is not an add-on at Apti — it sits inside the same plan of care as your physiotherapy, with both practitioners working from the same notes.

  • 60-minute session, delivered by a Registered Massage Therapist
  • Scar tissue release, trigger point work, cupping and acupuncture as indicated
  • Post-natal care and pregnancy-related musculoskeletal pain
  • Claimable on most extended health plans with RMT coverage

What it helps

Where massage therapy earns its place

Pain management

Sixteen years of practice directed squarely at pain and injury rather than relaxation alone.

Injury rehabilitation

Scar tissue release and restoration of tissue glide after strain, tear or surgery.

Tension & stress

Reducing muscular guarding and the sympathetic load that keeps tissue sensitive.

Recovery support for the postural and muscular demands that follow pregnancy.

Kavita graduated from CCMH in 2007 and, despite her ability to give a great relaxing massage, her passion lies in pain management and injury rehabilitation.

She has been dealing with injuries and pain for all sixteen years she has been in practice. Over the years she has learned and incorporated acupuncture and cupping into her treatments, each customised to the patient’s needs to maximise results and reduce pain.

Common questions

Massage therapy at Apti

Not sure whether massage or physiotherapy is the right starting point? Call (905) 780-3334 and we will point you the right way.

A registered massage therapy session runs sixty minutes. Because treatment is delivered by a Registered Massage Therapist, most extended health benefit plans with RMT coverage will reimburse it.

Registered massage therapy is a regulated health profession in Ontario. Treatment is assessment-led and directed at a clinical problem — scar tissue, muscle guarding, restricted range, post-natal recovery — rather than at relaxation alone, and it is documented and claimable through insurance.

Yes. Kavita has incorporated acupuncture and cupping into her treatments over sixteen years in practice, each customised to the patient’s needs to maximise results and reduce pain.

Yes. Registered massage supports post-natal recovery alongside physiotherapy, helping with scar tissue release, muscular tension and the postural load that comes with feeding and carrying.

Frequently both. Massage relieves tension, improves circulation and flexibility and releases scar tissue; physiotherapy establishes why the tissue became irritable and rebuilds the capacity that keeps it comfortable. At Apti the two practitioners share notes and work to one plan.
